What a spectacular day we had for our annual Cape Town Golf Day at Pearl Valley Golf Estate yesterday.Organised by our volunteer fundraiser ,based in Johannesburg, Cathy Bartlett and with title sponsor, Mecantile Bank, the day was huge success raising an incredible R204 400. The proceeds of the day will go towards the cost of a new rescue vehicle for Jeffreys Bay. Grateful thanks go out to all the players, hole sponsors and those who donated prizes and auction lots.We used the opportunity to bless two new rescue vessels, Mercantile Spirit which was sponsored by Mercantile Bank and is the new 4.2 metre vessel for Gordons Bay; and IL BATTELLO, paid for by the proceeds of the Johannesburg Golf Day held in November last year and is the new 4.7 metre vessel for Kommetjie IL BATTELLO was blessed by Cathy Bartlett Mercantile Spirit was blessed by Kally Kumbier
