The end of April and beginning of May seen many events being hosted for our Life Boat Club (for retired members and supporters) around Durban and PE. Below are some highlights:Janet addressed the Bluff Women's Auxiliary and made many new members and friends. There were also some generous ladies that made bequests to NSRI.Janet was invited to speak to SAARP Pinetown and was delighted to welcome new members to our LBC as well as some generous new bequests. An enjoyable morning for all.Janet and Helen hosted a breakfast for Highway members. Andrew Pike, a Maritime lawyer gave a very interesting talk on the sinking of the Oceanos. Raffles were drawn and 2 lucky members won a selection of awesome prizes.. Judy Venter, our bequest officer in PE hosted her first presentation at Probus Club of Port Elizabeth. She has received wonderful feedback of the talk enjoyed by all the members.Welcome to all our new members to the Life Boat Club.
