Mossel Bay Vodacom Rescuer II Picture Andrew Ingram / Sea RescueAndre Fraser, NSRI Mossel Bay station commander, said:A Police dive unit and Mossel Bay Police are tasked to continue an ongoing search and investigate the circumstances surrounding the disappearance of a woman, believed to be aged 30, from Mossel Bay, reportedly missing since Monday, 13th March, and according to reports may live in caves along the cliff face in the vicinity beyond The Point.Police, WC Government Health EMS, Mossel Bay Fire and Rescue Services had conducted a search along the cliff face in the vicinity beyond The Point after being alerted to the ladies disappearance that had been reported as a fall from rocks in a barely accessible area.NSRI Mossel Bay were alerted at 22h00, 13th March, to assist in a search along the sea side of the cliffs and we launched the sea rescue craft Vodacom Rescuer II to join Police, EMS and Fire and Rescue but by the early hours of this morning, Tuesday, 14th March, no sign of the woman was found and the AMS/EMS Skymed rescue helicopter searched during the morning but with still no sign of the missing woman Police will continue an ongoing search operation.
