We think this thank you note sums up the mood of the day :Dear Bruce, Thank you so, so much for the arranging the function at Station No 34 in Yzerfontein on Saturday. It was lovely as was the food and the company. Thank you also for allowing me to bring our friends, they could not stop talking about it in the car going home. The beautiful book I will cherish for a long time and will enjoy reading it over and over again. I will also enjoy wearing the “beanie” that I was so lucky to win. Until we see each other again, take care and love from us both. SandyOur Life boat Club is made up of retired crew and retired supporters, most of whom have chosen to leave a gift to Sea Rescue in their will. Membership is free and we arrange social gatherings once or twice a year to keep in touch. Each member receives a free copy of our Sea Rescue magazine which is published 3 times a year.
