Ndlambe Local Municipality supports Sea Rescue

Our crew at NSRI Port Alfred have been personally thanked by the Mayor of Port Alfred, Mr Faxi. A letter of thanks and R10 000 were presented at today's Council Meeting.The letter reads as follows: 'Ndlambe municipality would hereby like to extend our heartfelt appreciation to the NSRI Station 11, Station Commander Juan Pretorius and his dedicated team of volunteers for their commitment, dedication and willingness to save lives within the area of Ndlambe municipality..............Your response time to each incident was, as usual, unbelievably fast and efficient. Your skippers, rescuers, ground and base crew are all well trained and at all times showed professionalism, empathy and service above self.............we hereby donate, as a token of our heartfelt appreciation for the services you have done over the past 2016/2017, an amount of R10 000.'
