Kevin Arnold, Nick Davies, Pete Ridge and friends organise the annual Calamari and Chips walk in Plett every December 27th. Participants walk from Keurbooms Beach to Plett and end at The Lookout Deck restaurant, a route of approximately 9km.At The Lookout Deck they enjoy calamari and chips and there is an auction to raise funds for Sea Rescue. Our crew from Station 14 Plett get to meet the walkers as we ferry them across the river mouth and of course we are along the route on standby for safety. This year they raised a whopping R44 000. Thanks so much for your support and thanks for hosting it year after year.img-20170107-wa0021Kevin unfortunately had to leave early so he is not in the photo with us.
