Assistance at medical call

Theo Erasmus, NSRI Witsand station commander, said:At 07h50, Wednesday, 26th October, NSRI Witsand were requested to assist at a medical call at a local residence where a 70 year old lady suffered a suspected heart attack.NSRI Witsand medical crew responded and the WC Government Health EMS were activated.On arrival on the scene medical treatment commenced and the lady was stabilised by NSRI medics. EMS paramedics arrived promptly on the scene and they took over care of the lady and she has been transported to hospital by EMS ambulance in a stable condition for further treatment.
