SHELLY BEACH:On Sunday afternoon at 14h30, 03 July, NSRI Shelly Beach were activated following reports from Shelly Beach Control tower of the ski-boat Lollipop with 4 persons on board capsized in the surf while returning to shore through the breaker line.2 Adult males aged 60 and 48 and 2 young males believed to be aged 8 and 11, from Johannesburg, were being assisted by fisherman and other boaters and by Shelly Beach control.On arrival on the scene NSRI found all 4 people safely ashore and not injured and, assisted by other boaters and bystanders, recovered their ski-boat Lollipop. No further assistance was required.
