The volunteer WaterWise Instructors today for the first time used the megaphones that were bought for them by the Friends of the Pavilion to teach water safety to children at the Sae Point swimming pool.Very kindly Anthony Walker of PowerSound.co.za donated an extra one when they heard what we were going to use them for!The first group of school children to benefit from the new megaphones was Floreat primary from Steenberg. “It made the lesson so much easier to present,' said WaterWise Instructor Alison Cope. “It used to be difficult projecting our voices so that the children at the back could hear us … and this is no longer an issue,” said Alison.Volunteer WaterWise Instructors Alison Cope and Claudia Diekmann with the new megaphones.
