Today Karen Kennedy & Ian Livermore, two Coxswain’s from Station 5 Durban, took the time to give a WaterWise talk at Hillcrest Primary School.Both volunteers completed the WaterWise Academy program on the NSRI eLearning to be able to give the talk. Children were taught how to be safe around water and to help other people in difficulty while keeping themselves safe. They were also taught how to do Hands On CPR.Thirty children were given some basic knowledge today which could help save just one life.Learning CPR Karen teaches Hands On CPR.
