This image has been sourced from the Zululand Observer website http://zululandobserver.co.za/?p=89899 This image has been sourced from the Zululand Observer website http://zululandobserver.co.za/?p=89899Mike Patterson, NSRI Richards Bay deputy station commander, said: At 11h16, Saturday, 07th November, NSRI Richards Bay duty crew were activated following reports of an aeroplane landed on the beach at Richards Bay following an emergency landing.The SA Police Services and uMhlathuze Fire and Rescue Services also responded.NSRI Richards Bay responded and while responding to the scene reports were received that no one was injured in the incident.On our arrival on-scene we found a light aircraft that had successfully landed on the beach following an emergency landing with a local couple onboard who were not injured and they required no assistance.It appears that the propeller of the single engined light aircraft fell off during flight.CAA (Civil Aviation Authority) have been alerted.TO REPORT A SEA RESCUE EMERGENCY DIAL 112 FROM A CELLPHONE
