Durban Crew stand by at City Jump Challenge

Last night our Durban Sea Rescue volunteers provided emergency medical support for the popular Durban leg of the City Jump Challenge.The crew started the evening before the race started doing a walk through the course at Ushaka Wet & Wild. This gave the them an understanding of possible obstacles which might pose a challenge during the race.The event was well organized. There were only two minor medical incidents – a cut foot and a sprained ankle.The participants looked like they were having so much fun, that the Sea Rescue Durban crew have decided to enter a NSRI team in 2016.
