The blessing of the new 4.2 metre rescue boat Project Group Rescuer which is based at Station 37, Jeffreys Bay, took place this morning.Project Group is a group of women, based in Johannesburg, who organise fundraising events to give back to society. The proceeds of a golf day were donated to Sea Rescue and funded this new vessel.It is so wonderful to see the result of many asks for prizes and sponsorships come to fruition and we are delighted that this vessel will assist you in saving lives” said Rosemary Renton, Chairperson of Project Group.
