Tonight Station 5 Durban held a training session for trainees. They were shown how to prepare a boat to go to sea and how to operate the winch. Once on the water, the trainees were taken around Durban harbour to gain local knowledge and be able to identify different vessels and lights at night. Man overboard drills were also practiced.
