Cycling for Sea Rescue

Garth Dominy, rescue coxswain from Station 23 WildernessThank you to all the wonderful cyclists who rode for us in the Cape Town Cycle Tour on Sunday.We had an official charity group of 40 riders who set off wearing our colours including: Bruce Anderson, Brett Ayres, Marius Bosman, Andrew Brading, Colin Chapman, Jane Chapman, Andries Dannhauser, Hanneke Dannhauser, Garth Dominy, Clinton Ellis, Machtilt Susanna Ferreira, Chris Fitz-Gerald, Hermanus Fourie, Gary Haylett, Torsten Henschel, Louis Hugo, Perry Hutton, Ronelle Hutton, Cecil Jones-Phillipson, Craig Kenmuir, Rob Kenmuir, Peterus Johannes Koortzen, Rudi Le Roux, Henk Lombard, Eugene Maritz, Justin Meder, Thomas Nortier, Gregory Petersen, Heren Ramawtar, Cleeve Robertson, Anne-Marie Roodt, Marie-Serfontein, Andrew Smith, Shirley Doreen Van Der Griendt, Jacques Van Der Mescht, Jaco Van Rooyen, Estie Venter, Nico Venter, George Visser, Vaughn Wright and Yvonne Yendall.Chris Fitz-Gerald writes: 'Hi Alison, was a treat riding for NSRI, and an honour. Proud supporter Andrew CunninghameDue to the Cape Fires, the Cycle Tour turned into a Solidarity Ride and Trevor Mclean-Anderson of Velocity Sports Lab pulled out all the stops to put together a team of loud and proud Hout Bay volunteers who certainly grabbed everyone's attention. They have raised R37 750.00 for Sea Rescue (as at 17 March 2015).Thank you so much for your generous support.
