Picture by Peter Adriaens.At 07h25, Monday, 05th January, NSRI Witsand duty crew launched FALCON RESCUER following eye-witness reports of a boat capsized by a wave at the Bar in the mouth of the Breede River with 4 people onboard.On arrival on-scene all 4 people, Hannes Kotze, 54, his sons Hannes, 28 and Jaco, 26, and a young woman, Natasha, 24, were rescued off the upturned hull of their 5.6 meter boat ELROY and brought safely ashore, they were not injured.The sea rescue craft BREEDE RESCUER was launched to recover their boat which was taken to safe anchorage off-shore of Cape Infanta and no further assistance was required.TO REPORT A SEA RESCUE EMERGENCY DIAL 112 FROM A CELLPHONESMS 32287 with your name and a message of support for our Sea Rescue crew
