Eddie Langford, NSRI volunteer at Station 27, Victoria Lake, passed away yesterday after a recreational quad bike accident. The accident was in Trichardt four weeks ago and Eddie was airlifted to Alberton at the time, where he has been in ICU.Eddie joined Sea Rescue in January 2006 and has served at Station 27 with pride for the past eight years. Our sincere condolences to Eddie's family, friends and the Station 27 crew.Eddie's funeral will be on Tuesday, 30 December at 11h00 from the Gereformeerde Kerk Edenvale, 999 Eerste Laan.Eddie Langford, left, during a training session.
