WaterWise Instructor Kenneth Gagela reports form Soweto:The holidays are something great to the young boys around Soweto .As I was passing by the lake to a public meeting saw these boys playing fishermen competing to see who caught more fish . I was standing and thinking that I have been teaching at all local schools and sending a message of WaterWise and here are the children doing what we tell them it is not safe to do.Then I got closer and asked them which schools are you from ? The response it was that the schools that they are from are the same schools that have been postponing my visits. This shows that there are children out there who are in dire need of our lessons on water safety. When its school holidays children always find a way of entertaining themselves for a day . and we need to teach them how to be safe near water.20140718_120421_resized
