Captain John Richardson, one of the group of master mariners who took that crucial decision in 1966 to supply NSRI's very first rescue craft 'Snoopy', passed away on 7th July 2014 after a short illness.John was a keen member of NSRI's Life boat Circle and on 30th May, at our coffee morning at Hout Bay Manor Hotel, he spoke of his pride in NSRI and the importance of leaving a legacy.His memorial service will be held on Friday 11th at 2.30pm at Christ Church Constantia.
