It is with great sadness that we bid farewell to one of our great supporters and sponsors, Irene Riley who passed away on the 2nd of June 2014.Irene was well loved by the Sea Rescue community. Gordon’s Bay’s 14 metre rescue boat was sponsored by her and proudly named after her husband Jack. The Jack Riley is the biggest craft in Sea Rescue’s fleet and was commissioned at Gordons Bay. Irene, was a well traveled lady, a keen photographer and she so enjoyed joining our crew at sea.We admire her spirit and her positive outlook.RIP Irene. Mrs Irene and Mr Jack Riley. File picture.
