The seas are so big that the base's storm gates have washed away and the boat shed has been completely flooded.NSRI are urging extreme caution to the public around the coast as cold fronts are bringing high swells and dangerous sea conditions around the coastline.Big sea swells brought in by a series of cold fronts together with the Full Moon Spring Tide has resulted in dangerous sea conditions around our coast and extreme caution is advised particularly to anglers fishing from shore, boaters, paddlers, bathers and we urge the public not to venture along harbour walls where waves could sweep over harbour walls.The pictures below are available on flickr to the media.IMG-20140615-WA0002 IMG-20140615-WA0004 IMG-20140615-WA0003 IMG-20140615-WA0001
