Station 5 Durban found a structural problem on the deck of their RIB “MEGAN II” and needed to get it to Cape Town for urgent repairs. SUBTECH kindly put their hand up and at extremely short notice the NSRI volunteer crew handed “MEGAN II” over to the SUBTECH rigging crew. it wasn’t long before MEGAN II was all hooked up and in no time very carefully lifted out the water. After some high flying to clear containers, the team had her onboard the truck and ready for transport to Cape Town for repairs.
