Adolescents from Mphezeni High School participated in a WaterWise workshop before their school tour to the beach in Durban. This is an annual tradition, and a very busy time of the year for Eshowe based Instructor Lwazi Fihlela, who concentrates his lessons on beach safety for the learners, many of whom have never been to the sea before.Mphezeni is a rural school based in the Mombeni Village and like other schools in this region, the children are very excited about their first visit to the Beach.Lwazi's WaterWise lesson taught them the importance to have a safety PLAN and ensure they are ready to deal with any water related emergencies.Mphezeni High School children learn the WaterWise PLAN.
