On Wednesday evening, the 2nd April, NSRI Hermanus held their AGM at their station. There were some good moments but also some sad moments. Their current chairman, Petrus Hendriksz announced that he would be stepping down as chairman due to other commitments. He had served for 3 years and said he would still remain on their fundraising committee. The station thanked Petrus for what he had achieved over the past three years. His amazing work at the station took their fundraising to new levels. He also pushed the awareness campaign for station 17 with great passion.The late Gert Human's awards were handed over to his mother. Crew member of the year was awarded to 2 crew members for their bravery is a rescue, they were Andre Barnard and Josh Henn.
