Zanele Bushwane is our WaterWise Instructor who teaches children in Phillipi, Gugulethu and Khayelitsha about water safety. This is her report:The kids at Entshona Primary School in Phillipi were all excited to learn about water safety. I taught them what to do and what not to do when swimming. They were all curious asking questions about CPR. The teachers welcomed the lesson and it just felt great to be back again after the long summer holiday.I also went to Sokhanyo PS in Gugulethu … they thought that it was a great way to start off before they started their swimming programme. The kids took part in the lesson practicing CPR and the WaterWise PLAN. I enjoyed the lesson and so did the kids. Zanele is sponsored by TNPA.Zanele in action.
