Melkbosstrand:At 14h00, on Monday the 6th of January, NSRI Melkbosstrand responded to assist at Main Beach where two kayakers capsized in rough surf conditions.On arrival NSRI Melkbosstrand crew found that the kayakers were already in the surf line and were being assisted to shore by SA Lifesaving lifeguards.They were both brought safely ashore by the lifeguards and treated for mild hypothermia before being released requiring no further assistance.
