A cosy fireside 'Coffee & Crew Stories' morning for 32 members of the Helderberg Basin Life Boat Circle was held at L’Auberge Restaurant outside Somerset West. Station Commander Nigel Pepperell shared some interesting and amusing rescues undertaken by his crews from Stn.9 Gordon’s Bay.LBC Lyn and Geoff Harris and Lynne and Ken Tuck, flanking Margaret McCulloch, travelled in from Rooi Els to join in the fun.a, NSRI CEO Cleeve Robertson and Irene Riley together with NSRI’s new CEO Cleeve Robertson and Eleanor Simpson.
