On Wednesday evening the volunteers from our Rescue Base at Bakoven, who were part of the team that rescued 11 fishermen and the skipper from the fishing vessel Claremont that ran aground on Robben Island during the early hours of Tuesday morning, met at the base for a debrief.Col’cacchio Camps Bay very kindly sponsored pizzas for the meeting and pictured here are the staff from the restaurant who were incredibly proud that they were able to give something to our amazing volunteers.
