SAWS's Cape Town Office latest weather update, Thursday 30 14h00.Special Weather Advisories:A well developed cold front will reach the country during Saturday afternoon with another on Sunday and Monday: Heavy falls of rain are expected in places in the Cape Metrople West Coast, Cape Winelands and Overberg districs Sunday and Monday. Strong to gale force winds are expected in places over the Western Cape interior on Sunday.Gale to strong gale force winds between Cape Columbine and Plettenberg bay on Sunday. Very rough seas, wave heights 4m to 6m are expected from Alexander Bay to Plettenberg Bay from Sunday into Tuesday.High seas with wave heights, 6m to 9m are expected between Cape Columbine and Plettenberg Bay during Monday. Very cold conditions are expected over western highground of the Western Cape Province and southern highground of the Northern Cape Province Sunday through to Tuesday.Snowfalls are expected on the western high ground of the Western Cape Province and Southern highground of the Northern Cape Province Sunday overnight and Monday.NSRI urges boaters, fishermen, paddlers, surfers and anglers to heed weather warnings and to always check official weather office sites before going out to sea.
