The Simon's Town 10 metre rescue boat Spirit of Safmarine III has been taken out of the water for a complete refit at Treetops Marine.According to Operations Director Mark Hughes, she will spend about eight months out of the water and have a top to toe refit including a complete respray, new engines and new gear boxes. The electrical system will be replaced and new propellers and shafts will be fitted.While she is off-station a 7,3 metre rib will be based at Simon's Town.asimonasimonasimonasimon
