Sunday 9 December:Table Bay's rotary Endeavour and Melkbosstrand's Discovery Rescue Runner 4 were on standby for the international Red Bull flugtag event held at the V&A Waterfront next to the Sea Rescue base. The event was a huge success and went off without a problem. The V&A Waterfront was jam packed with spectators watching contestants take part in building planes to fly off the ramp and try to beat the record.NSRI's Table Bay rescue base had two volunteers take part with team Pegavader who won the people's prize.Report and pictures by Robyn Silverstone.
