Yzerfontein Boat club donate to NSRI Stn 34

The members of the Yzerfontein Boat club have over the years been very supportive of their young local NSRI station, Station 34 Yzerfontein. Being from a predominantly small fishing village, the guys all know one another and understand the commitment made by the NSRI volunteers, who have worked so hard to get things up and running. During recent years, the Boat Club members have helped raise funds to purchase waterproof radios, survival clothing and dry suits, trauma boards and various cash donations. Recently they donated R27 000.00 to Yzerfontein NSRI - raised by the club members - which will go towards the new NSRI rescue base which is soon to be built!
