Vincent Tee, the owner of Caltex Wavelands in Jeffreys Bay, kindly donated the use of his Car Wash facility to the Crew of Station 37, Jeffreys Bay, for Saturday morning 7 April 2012.After being up most of the night searching for a missing fisherman, the morning started off slowly for the Jbay volunteers, but after a few cups of coffee and some rather large cans of popular energy drinks, they were able to sort out the growing queue of vehicles. Two crew members assisted with the collection of donations at the stop street entrance to the garage, whilst directing dirty cars to the car wash.According to station commander, Rieghard Van Rensburg, “We managed to raise just under R7000-00 for our new boat fund. A big Thank you to all the crew, trainees and family members who sacrificed their saturday morning to raise this money! We are surely blessed to have such a group of dedicated Volunteers.'The Pictures are by RRAD Photography.
