The painting of Station 16, Strandfontein - with special epoxy based paint - is complete. As it is one of the most exposed Sea Rescue bases in the Institute, special measures were needed to keep the base in tip top condition.The maintenance of the base should take another two weeks to complete. The roller doors need to be replaced and NSRI signage needs to go up.
