Chopper training for Yzerfontein and Mykonos:

Saturday, 25 February, 2012 -Chopper training with SAAF & SRHU - Langebaan Lagoon:The morning of the 25th February started with crew doing a sweep of the landing area for the SAAF helicopter, the rest of the morning was spend doing hoist training with the crew ... everything from dry hoist, to water hoisting and hoisting with the rescue basket.So much was learned and fun was had while doing so. Our thanks go to all the Crew of both the SAAF and Sea Rescue Helicopter Unit who so kindly did the training and offered up their Saturday to assist us in training our members.
