At the recent Cape Town Boat Show, Honda Marine hosted a competition to win a boat, in aid of NSRI. Ticket sales raised an impressive R6 000.Young James Rowlands's mum bought him a ticket for the raffle, but he insisted on buying his own ticket with his own pocket money, so they had a total two chances to win. They visited the show on Friday afternoon, and hence were not at the CTICC on Sunday. When the call came through with the news they were sitting around the table enjoying a Sunday meal, and by all accounts the youngster was absolutely delighted.Dad Paul told Jeremy Barnes at Honda Marine Somerset West that James's current Crock Duck has been repaired so many times that there was no more room for patches, and that James is a very keen angler so when the family takes the annual vacation the boat goes with and James spends hours on the water. The new Honda powered Honwave couldn’t have come at a better time! The Honwave 2.5m inflatable with its strong aluminium floor is rugged and ready to go, and with its extra large buoyancy tubes, smooth cruising is guaranteed every time, whilst the Honda BF5HP outboard is an exceptional all-around small, portable 4-stroke engine which is both quiet and economical to operate.
