Station 34, Yzerfontein, visited Darling Pre-Primary School recently. Volunteers Elizca, Gerhard and Rudi introduced the two groups of children aged between 5&7 to Sea Rescue and what we do.They also spent some time talking about safety around water.Each child had an opportunity to sit on the boat and touch some of the equipment, and each group chose a 'volunteer' to don a lifejacket and helmet, much to everyone’s amusement.
