Station 19 Richards Bay were called out to assist the Operational Response Services (Sea Border Policing) after a man lost control of his vehicle on a dirt road and drove off the embankment and into the Blind Canal.He managed to get out of the vehicle. The Sea Border Policing received a call at 09h30 on the 6th Feb informing them that the vehicle had gone down the night before and the driver could not remember if his children were in the vehicle or not.Richards Bay were asked to assist the police divers. It was then determined that his children were at home, but they stood by until the divers were no longer needed.
