Bakoven volunteers decided not to launch on exercise on Sunday morning as raw sewage bubbled up out of what is supposedly a disused sewage pipe. According to the duty crew this is the 4th time that this has happened in six weeks. A note was put up at the foot of the stairs and people arriving at the beach were told that swimming was a bad idea.
