Discovery sponsored nine Rescue Runners over three years and the third batch has just been released from customs in Cape Town harbour.The latest batch are to be sent to the rescue bases at Shelly Beach, Witsand and Kommetjie. These high speed, fast response vessels, are being dressed with their new sign writing before being sent to their new homes.The Discovery Rescue Runners already in service are at Port Alfred, Melkbos, Port Edward, Strandfontein, Wilderness and Plett.
