Your once-off donation of R795 will get you a ticket to enter the 2021 NSRI Double Mitsubishi Car Competition. You may take as many tickets as you wish. Tickets are limited to 36 000 so you have an excellent chance of winning:
- FIRST PRIZE: Two Mitsubishi vehicles: A Pajero Sport 2.4L 4X4 Automatic and the Eclipse Cross 2.0L CVT valued at over R900 000,00

The 2020 winner of 2 Mitsubishi vehicles: a Pajero Sport 2.5 and an ASX 2.0 (Classic) valued at over R800 000 was Mrs Ishrat Arbi (Cape Town). The second prize of R250 000 was won by Mr. Ivan Harris (Cape Town) and Mrs I. Van Heerden (Pretoria) took the third prize of a ‘holiday of your dreams’ to the value of R80 000. Acknowledging Covid protocols, the draw took place virtually on 15th January 2021, with our finalists joining the excitement online and NSRI representatives spinning the wheel of fortune on behalf of the finalists..
The 2019 winner of 2 Mitsubishi vehicles: a Pajero Sport 2.5 and an ASX 2.0 (Classic) valued at over R800 000 was Dr Anette van Niekerk. The second prize of R250 000 was won by Mr. Ryno Erdmann (Pretoria) and Stuart Sinclair (Gauteng) took the third prize of a ‘holiday of your dreams’ to the value of R80 000 at the ceremony held in the Mitsubishi Showrooms in Paarden Island.
The 2018 winner of 2 Mitsubishi vehicles: a Pajero Sport 2.5 and an ASX 2.0 (Classic) valued at over R800 000 was Mr Chris van der Merwe. The second prize of R250 000 was won by Hannes Meintjies of Hoedspruit and the owners of Pearly’s Restaurant in Langebaan took the third prize of a ‘holiday of your dreams’ to the value of R80 000 at the ceremony held in the Mitsubishi Showrooms in Paarden Island.
The 2017 winner of 2 Mitsubishi vehicles: a Pajero Sport 2.5 and an ASX 2.0 (Classic) valued at over R800 000 was Mr Tienie Pretorius. The second prize of R250 000 was won by Robert Bartholomew and Lyle Peters took the third prize of a ‘holiday of your dreams’ to the value of R80 000 at the ceremony held in the Mitsubishi Showrooms in Paarden Island.
The 2016 winner of 2 Mitsubishi vehicles: a Pajero Sport 2.5 and an ASX 2.0 (Classic) valued at over R800 000 was Mr Jan Greyling. The second prize of R250 000 was won by Edith Goodall and Bruce Thompson took the third prize of a ‘holiday of your dreams’ to the value of R80 000 at the ceremony held in the Mitsubishi Showrooms in Paarden Island.
The 2015 winner of 2 Mitsubishi vehicles: a Pajero Sport 2.5 and an ASX 2.0 (Classic) valued at over R800 000 was Mr Hayden Goument. The second prize of R250 000 was won by Melissa Mathurai of Cape Diving and Adv. Louis Olivier took the third prize of a ‘holiday of your dreams’ to the value of R80 000 at the ceremony held in the Mitsubishi Showrooms in Paarden Island.
The 2014 winner was Mauritz Jonck who won the first prize of 2 Mitsubishi vehicles: a Pajero Sport 2.5 and an ASX 2.0 (Classic) valued at over R800 000, second prize of R250 000 cash was won by James Engelbrecht and the third prize, a trip for two on the Queen Mary 2 to Southampton valued at over R75 000 was won by Jorge De Andrade.
The 2013 winner was Durban Judge Zaba Nkosi who won first prize of 2 Mitsubishi vehicles: the 3.2 DI-DC GLX LWB and the ASX 2.0 (classic) valued at over R800 000, second prize of R250 000 cash was won by Paul Herrmann and the third prize, a trip for two on the Queen Mary 2 to Southampton including return flights valued at over R75 000 was won by Gustav Schulenburg. Thanks to Kieno Kammies for being MC during the ceremony.
The winner of the 2012 Double Mitsubishi Draw was JJ Fourie of Tyger Valley. His prize was 2 Mitsubishi’s – a PAJERO 3.2 Diesel 4×4 LWB and the ASX 2.0 (classic) – together valued at over R800 000. JB Wiese was given the keys on behalf of JJ Fourie to the new cars by Western Province and Springbok rugby legend Corne Krige.
The 2nd prize winner, Lesley Waterkeyn won a Gemini Waverider 470, rigid inflatable boat plus trailer, and the 3rd prize winner, Elaine Rainier won a trip for 2 to the 2013 Spanish GrandPrix.
