It is THAT time of year again when Oyster Bay is getting ready to dust of the year that has past and become the best spot to be! The annual NSRI Oyster Bay Mandjie Dans sponsored by SPAR is taking place on 30 November at Grassridge, which means that for one night only, there will be music in the air, precision dance steps on the floor and lots of laughter!
Renowned and much-loved South African singer/songwrite Appel is getting ready to entertain the crowd with songs like Heito Potato, F250, Lemoene and Foute. Did you know that not only has Appel made a name for himself as an accomplished artist, but his songwriting skills have given us songs like Theuns Jordaan’s “Sal jy bly”, Jay’s “Dis hoe ons rol”, and Eden’s “Superhero”. The man’s talents know no end! Be warned – you will want to dance, so start dusting off those moves!
If you have attended an NSRI Oyster Bay Mandjie Dans before, you will know that the main artist is not the only artist for the evening. This year we are welcoming back local talent Herman Kleinhans. His soulful guitar musings and fun tongue-in-the-cheek songs are the definition of local flavour. Deon Meiring of Glaskas fame, is definitely no stranger to the stage, but will make his debut Mandjie Dans performance this year. We can’t wait to see and hear how these three will entertain the crowd.
Bring your snacks and drinks, family, friends and enough energy to skoffel the night away!
What we will provide: Tables, chairs under a stretch tent, and of course – THE ENTERTAINMENT! Oh, and a raffle to rival any other…and also a special auction.
If you have any questions, give us a shout on 072 182 6175 or station36@searescue.org.za
