Reporting to: Project Manager Paterson Grading: B4 Remuneration: from R167 377.60 (Gross Annual) The remuneration includes a 13th cheque. Deductions that come off this include 7% pension, 50% medical aid premium and 1% UIF. Benefits over and above the annual amount include 8% pension, 50% medical aid 1% UIF as well as death, disability and funeral cover. PURPOSE: The National Sea Rescue Institute is looking to appoint an Administrative Assistant to be based at their head office in Milnerton, Cape Town. Reporting to the Project Manager, the incumbent will be responsible for supporting the fundraising team with day-to-day administration.

Requirements & Experience:

  • 2-4 years’ experience in a similar role (Call Centre experience would be an advantage)
  • Administrative skills and experience.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite
  • Experience with CRM systems an advantage (MS Dynamics)
  • Attention to detail and organised.
  • Accurate and fast typing.
  • Ability to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the smooth running of the fundraising team.
  • Process and maintain accurate records of donor information and sales.
  • Written and verbal communication with donors.
  • Quality control of fundraising team data.
  • Finalisation and approval of sales and transactions.
  • Adhere to NSRI policies and procedures.
  • Position and uphold the NSRI brand and reputation.
