The National Sea Rescue Institute of South Africa is registered with Social Development as a Non-Profit Organization. The organization delivers Sea Rescue Services along more than 3000km of coastline through over 40 Stations, 1200 Volunteers and 100 Rescue Craft. The NSRI also provides Water Safety skills training with the objective of improving water safety and preventing drowning. The Head Office is in Cape Town with over 140 permanent personnel.

Job description:

  • The Coordination of the Emergency Care Function within the National Sea Rescue Institute of South Africa.
  • Fulfilling the Generic Components of Management iro Emergency Medical Care:
    • Planning
    • Organizing
    • Budgeting
    • Controlling/facilitating
    • Monitoring/Information Management
    • Communicating/Motivating

Candidate requirements: Qualification & Experience

  • A relevant bachelor’s degree in Emergency Care/Medicine
  • Minimum 5 years relevant work experience in a related field with contactable executive references.
  • Evidence of Capacity for Emergency Medical Care Management with a strong people focus.
  • Portfolio of Experience
