Sea Rescue has vacancies for 3 positions for 2019: Driver, Storeman and Donor Support Administrator.Vacancy: Driver Reporting to: Training ManagerPaterson Grading: B4Remuneration: Gross Annual R 150 588*The gross annual includes 13 cheques / pays. Errors & Omissions Excepted.RequirementsA grade 12 or equivalent qualification.An EB license, or higher (with ability and experience in towing a heavy trailer) PrDP. 4 years related experience. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills, organisational skills, as well as accuracy and attentionto detail. Knowledge of NSRI processes and volunteer experience is preferred.Job PurposeResponsible for transporting goods, products, vessels, personnel and vehicles to and from specified destinations. Related administrative tasks, such as ensuring goods to be collected / equipment serviced are in order upon pick up is included in the purpose of the job. Responsible for arranging scheduling and effective discharge of duties. Job will require that competence in performing tasks not usually required of a pure driver be done (e.g. fitting a capsize cylinder to a vessel, upon delivery of same or performing a vehicle / vessel handover ). Work hours are 09h00 to 17h00, Monday to Friday.Job PurposeResponsible for receiving, storing and issuing of goods against requisitions and recording these. Ensures that stock sheets are updated with daily issues and receipts and administers the daily movement and storage of goods.Key Tasks includeReceive goods and check that the correct type and quantity has been delivered, as per the waybill.● Maintain an organised and efficient storage system.● Correctly select and package any requested store items, and ensure goods are ready for dispatch to the correct destination (destination of goods clearly marked on packaging).
