Wilderness Beach Volleyball Festival on Saturday 2 March 2013.
Bring your family and friends and join us for the second local beach festival, aimed at raising much needed funds for Wilderness Sea Rescue Station 23.
NSRI Wilderness is gearing the event to be fun for local families as well as a social beach volleyball contestants for the sporty types on the beach. The cost of entering is R60 per team of six for the junior or youth league and R300 per team of six for the corporate league.
There will be an informative beach walk, that will be lead by experienced Sea Rescue crew at 8am. Also in the line up is 10 pin bowling, archery and sand castle building competition for the kids.
The tournament starts at 9am, and is likely to conclude around 3pm. A Sea Rescue demo will take place during the lunch break from 13hoo-14h00.
The NSRI Wilderness volunteers will field at least one volleyball team – last year one of our teams ended second – so see if you are up to beating our rescue crews!
