High School supports NSRI Durban at the annual Midmar Mile

The De La Salle Holy Cross College High School travels to the Midmar Mile race in Durban annually to participate and each year chooses a cause to raise funds for.

For 2017 they decided to honour the NSRI for their invaluable efforts in keeping people safe both on inland waters and on the ocean.

Our NSRI Station 5 Durban invited them to visit their Rescue Base and meet the volunteers.

The school raised over R9000 and the funds have been allocated to our Durban Rescue Base.

Thank you so much for your generous support!
