Govt supports NSRI and Lifesaving SA:

Mr Anton Bredell, Minister of Local Government Environmental Affairs and Development Planning, today handed over cheques for R335 475 each to Sea Rescue and Lifesaving SA.

The ceremony took place at the Strandfontein pavilion and included a demonstration by the Strandfontein lifesavers and their nippers of rescue techniques that they use in the surf.

    My son and I had the privilege to spend some time with NSRI Strandfontein a while ago. Some of the most friendly and helpful people I have met in a long, long time. All of the best to you and the Lifesavers for the coming season.
